Well it really started at about;

 

5:30pm - Picked up new rad (cheers Mac) from DHL

5:45pm - Arrived at Zedworld for fitting

5:55pm - Rad out of box, Jeff Spotted it was a Jap rad (Manual)

6:00pm - Old rad back on, new rad back in box

6:10pm - Gutted

6:20pm - Called rad suppliers

6:30pm - Arranged for rad to go back and buy UK rad (Auto spec)

6:31pm - Text Mac

6:40pm - Put new rad in lounge, Mac phoned

6:55pm - After long chat with Mac, decided to keep new rad and get aftermarket autobox cooler

6:56pm - Call Luke at Zcentre, ask about coolers, said I could use UK spec engine oil cooler for autobox cooler and use Jap spec for engine cooler (I'm confused!)

6:58pm - Call Jeff back, all sorted recommends I get my 99 spec done at same time to save 3 jobs and make it 1, he calls back Luke

7:20pm - Call Mac tell him what's happening, he thinks I'm doing a good thing, saving autobox from early failure!!

7:30pm - Realise it's 7:30pm and had no dinner

8:00pm - Cooked nice dinner, realised I have just spent loads on my Z and I only wanted a new rad!

8:10pm - Had shower to forget huge spend

8:45pm - Long soak in shower, feel better

9:00pm - Posting on here and just wanted to say......

 

 

My Z is going to look the bollox with a 99 Spec front on it!! :D

 

 

All that and I only went to have a dodgy connector sorted on the coolent pipe into the engine!!

post up some pics when she is done mate and keep us all posted on the veilside saga.. I wonder when Tooko or whatever he calls himself is gonna show up here threatening legal action. Hell I still have the last email threatening me with a lawsuit for libel.

 

I still read it when i need a laugh.

Matty,no problem;) All I can say is it's a fookin good job I know my Z stuff!

Or you would have sent it back thinking you had a Jap spec rad:D;)
