Well the Top Gear "theme" was safety but it heavily disguised by proper things like indecently powerful cars (I want one!).

I notice that people often refer to Zed's as a 'safe' car because of it's size, weight, cost etc. I have never really believed this because it's simply too old and so I did a little research :-

And before you start feeling comfortable, these figues seem to be for the US model and side impart bars were only installed in Series II upwards UK Zeds and I think only the later ones have airbags.

350Z's look good though.

Drive Safely ! ;)

Just need someone to develop a targa-top blowoff and ejector seat system and it'd all be cool

Plus some front mounted rocket launchers to clear the road when someone pulls out in front of you - would also be useful for encouraging BMW drivers to move out of the outside lane ! ;)

My god, we're turning into Jeremy Clarkeson!! LOL

Time to buy really faded tight jeans with tucked in shirts. :D

That is why I said that they are not particulary safe.

Under the death rate column is a poor death rate better than a good deathrate? I would thought it was.

Also all the fast cars have a poor death rate, is this due to the car not being safe or the fact it can do 0-100 in the time it takes some cars to do 0-60.

It also doesn't help that most Zeds don't have airbags :(
