Just got off the phone to the insurance people.

 

The damage is purely cosmetic, though I can't open the bonnet :(

Nah, back of a Van, there was no damage to the Van, I wasn't even going fast. I just hit the brakes as normal and the car just didn't stop.

 

I've had some new pads for about 2 months now, and to be honest they were complete $hite. I'd been getting severe fade after a couple of fast stops. I've been meaning to replace them for weeks now, I guess saving $50 on pads has cost me 10 times that in the long run :(

 

Still, time for a new front end :D

 

Don't wan't the 99 one though, too common now :D

 

I have heard the only other two front ends which are Polyurothane are the Stillen and the West Wings.

 

Is this true?

Yes they are only ones l know of in Poly!

 

Must admit I saved some dough on cheap tyres for an old fiesta l was driving at the time, big mistake!

 

Spent one second too long looking at a young lady's laalaas and skidded right into the back of a beemer, suppose they is always an upside to everything! LOL

 

BTW John fuggles from the skyline forum is trying to contact about a boot lid, his name is Fuggles on that forum!

I rear ended someone in my Polo years ago - funny? thing is I didn't think or react in time to steer into the other lane which I think was (I think) free of traffic. It takes fast reactions to do something like that to avoid a bump - your natural instinct is to stay in lane.

Nah, my current set of pads are just absolute $hite. The stock pads were MUCH MUCH better (front pads btw)

 

Anybody have any recommendations?

black diamond disks and mintex pads are wot I use.
