Hi all,

 

I need help on the R34 Brembo front brakes (calipers and discs).

1. What is the diffrerence between R33 Brakes and R34 brakes?

2. What's the disc size on the R34 Brembo fronts ?

3. Are they ever slotted/grooved as the ones i saw are plain discs?

4. How hard is t to fot them on a Z?

Ammar,

Difference is only the callipar mounting bolt diameters.

To fit to a ZX you need to drill the holes in the hub carriers out to 14mm and bend the pipes slightly. Also need to flatten the edge of the original dust shields or remove them.

They are 330m, Johnny at GPS can sort you out with grooved ones. Original are plain & VERY expensive (£580+VAT ea!!)

Yeah, sure they're 330mm, I can measure them if you want as they're sitting in my garage doing nothing :(

Had to make more mods to mine as I used 330x30mm discs;)

Iain, did you have to put spacers in the callipars for the 30mm disks?

Yes John;) the pads would not fit:eek: 35mm thick= never ever warp LOL

LOL oops I meant 35mm :o the Discs are 330mmx35mm so no ha ne na no ne :D;)
