good evening to all.

the question is, would replacing the pcv valves at 70,000 klm

make any difference to performance if blocked or dirty.

the thing is I cleaned throttle bodies out about 1 month ago

(very black) and since that, drivers side exhaust started smoking after engines warmed up in a morning, and now passenger side has started the same all in the the space of a month (since cleaning t/bs) and some times it feels down on power????

can any one help??

JIM:confused:

When you cleaned the throttle bodies did you reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for an hour or so?

Not sure that it would noticably affect performance, but the smoking can be associated with clogged PCV's. Well worth replacing them anyway, did mine at about 55,000m.
