Heater metrix

Has any one had a go at changing the heater matrix or had cause to have one changed

Is it a DIY job

any info please

    There is definately a knack to the heater matrix removal having done a fair few now actually done one today albeit an auto (easier) in a little under 3 hours. (quickest yet)

     

    The worst bit is the 8 mm retainer bolt holding the pipes in place at the back of the heater assembly.

    Did mine recently ( james 300 posted a link ) followed the instructions which were spot on...... like posted above the screw at the back was an absoulute tw@t to get at... but otherwise ok
