I think I'll have to get the front seats done again as they have become loose. :(

Even with all the dents an scrapes she still looks good. (from a distance!)

 

 

 

The rear seats and the rear trim have to be fitted next and then its off to the bodyshop. After a full service and MOT she'll be up for sale :( :(

Bought the kit from Z Toyz, All the different combinations of trim are listed on the website. It has taken a long time to arrive from the states but the quality of the skins is top notch.

 

I'm not too happy about how the seats are starting to look loose so I'll need to get the installer to tighten the Hog rings also the installer made some mistakes on the trim on the doors! :mad:

They look the same but its a Trust GRacer front. The Scarab front is a copy of the Trust front (sneaky buggers).

Agreed Trevor - have him tighten them down. They are a bit on the loose side and should not be.

 

If you need any replacement leather for the trims (if you installer made a mistake that can not be fixed) i have plently left over so do not hesitate to ask!!!!!

1) Fitting was via:

Gemini Seat Covers

Phone Number: UK 020 8778 2894

 

2) Cost for the Leather and vinyl combo was: Total = $1134 =£680 at current exchange rates. This included shipping but NOT VAT & Duty. As the shipping came at different times I must have paid approx £90 on VAT and duty in all. NOTE: Steve at Ztoyz provided all of my front and rear trim and the rear seats in Leather not vinyl as a favour.

 

3) Fitting: The two front seats were £40 each, the rear seats were quoted at £60 (not yet fitted-see below) and for the trim I was quoted £60 also.

 

In all however the seats need the Hog rings tightened to make them look better on the sides and some of the trim needs sorting in places. There is another trimmer in south east London called Creech Coach Trimmers. They are highly recommended by other car clubs (e.g. Porsche owners etc). So I would like to see the results on fitting my rear seats.

By our standards - that's allot of money for install - should be about $500-$700 US - but things may be different over there.

 

Hopefully - i can put together some install support from some shops over there. DOn't want to see people get ripped on install!
