Is this normal?

Just took the car out for a good thrash.

(Just discovered locking it down and redlining in first then second, then going to drive really makes it shift ;) )

Anyway got back and there was coolant pouring out the front drivers side of the car with a lous hissing.

Engine temp had been half all the journey.

I think this is fairly normal for Zeds to jettison coolant when the pressure builds, but I'm not sure.

Here's a vid to show what it was doing.

Is this normal or is it bad?

Of course it's not the norm.

I'd investigate further if I were you.

There will be a puddle of water under the car after a long run but that's condensation from the air con condensor not the cooling system.

And, no i haven't downloaded your vid as it's 4mb and I'm on narrowband :D

Tim

Oh ok, I better get it checked out then :(

Bugger I was hoping it was supposed to do that ;)
