Hi! Not sure if I'm correct here, just joined the group.
A solid 2 months ago I bought a lovely 1997 300ZX Z32 in a beautiful purple color. It's been a great car so far and I love it with all my soul as it's the first sports car I've owned since I am only 20 🤣
I did encounter a problem yesterday after work though. My front windshield wipers always worked with no problem, showing no signs of giving up. Then, on my way home from work, as I turned them on in the rain, they swiped once and then stopped working. I pulled over to check if turning the car on and off would solve it, which it didn't. I was able to freely move them around but as soon as they reached the top position (vertically infront of my view), they blocked there completely.
I replaced the fuse and checked the relay, both of which don't seem to have any issues. When I try to turn the wipers on, all I hear is the motor or the relay seemingly clicking twice before going quiet.
The washers however work, and tge rear wiler as well with no issues.
What could the problem be?

Just took the car out for a good thrash.
(Just discovered locking it down and redlining in first then second, then going to drive really makes it shift ;) )
Anyway got back and there was coolant pouring out the front drivers side of the car with a lous hissing.
Engine temp had been half all the journey.
I think this is fairly normal for Zeds to jettison coolant when the pressure builds, but I'm not sure.
Here's a vid to show what it was doing.
Is this normal or is it bad?
