I need NOS ! 300 bhp Mods ?

Anyone keep up with the latest Non-Turbo mods available for 2003 ?

I really want to ramp up the bhp for my NA but I want to get a good cost/bhp increase ratio if you know what i mean !

there are so many companies offering similar products also - who do I go with ?

Thanks in advance for any help !

- my Z is having the auto box re-built - £1800 - my wife is gonna kill me ;-)

erm, what exactly are you asking????

What are the best mods for a non-turbo Z to increase bhp.

I guess the exhaust , induction kit , chip etc would be the area to look at first, but I have no idea which manufqacturer to use and what the latest models are.

I'm looking for advice from somebody who has already done a few performance mods specifically to the NA model and what kind of bhp increase did they get ?

and what products are not worth the packaging they are wrapped in ;)

cheers,

to reach 300 bhp you need to sell your na and buy a tt, unless you have expensive engine work done i cant see how a zorst n filter will give u the same performance, nos might give u the red light advantage and some good acceleration but once your out a gas your outa gas, turbos just keep coming back for more, also when u start modding the insurance is gonna creep up too.

yeh , I was trying to buy a TT but ended up buying a nice NA (although with a bad auto box which I found out later)

I saw so many TT's that were in terrible condition, I gave up.

Maybe I will settle for EPROM , ALC, Intake Upgrade, Header , Exhaust all from Stillen , and eventually get the TT one day.

Thanks for the info.

I to run NA. I went for the ZX because of what it looked like not what it went like. Sorry but if you want a race car you should have gon Skyline..If you really want to increase BHP then you wont beat Stillen, they say Intake, Headers and Exhaust will give you up to 40bhp still less than a turbo and a lot of dosh!

Nitrous how ever can give you an instant 100bhp on a stock motor but you can only use it for a few seconds

So why not just sit back and take a look at what you have

A nice looking car, 25mph, reliability then watch and listen

to them all moaning because their turbos have broken again!

I drove 15,000 miles in minelast year, some of them are lucky if they do 1500

Nissan built the NA because people wanted them.

People like you and me!! there just cool cars and I love them!!

I totally agree man, I love the looks of the Z. I had been after one for 2 years, totally ahead of its time when released in 1990.

Its gonna be my project for the next few years so I was just interested in what I can do to it, I think reliability is an important point, and I guess the more I mess with the engine, the more likely I'm gonna need some decent R.A.C cover :D

The Z is a real head turner, it was funny driving it down the motoway after buying it and watching peoples faces as I cruise past, I think I'll never forget that day.

Awesome - long live the Z , NA or TT ;)
