£40 for a bit of rubber!!!

Phoned nissan today to order a new top rad hose, (the shorter one that goes from the top of the rad to the metal pipes).

£33 plus VAT!!! bargain!!!!

On inspection the plastc on the end of the rad is comming to bits, im hoping that there is enough left on it for a new hose to grab onto.

If not has it got to be a new rad or does the plastic end bit come off somehow??

Join the club mate, the rad end tank is made from plastic after years of boiling water passing through it it goes brittle:(

You can buy the end tanks from MJP about £30;)

Its OK you can spend thousands on a small chunk of carbon.

I do have a brandnew top hose that I paid £40 from Nissan:( yours for £20 if you need it;)

Ive already ordered it from them so i guess i best get it from them, dont want them to blacklist me!!!

Cheers for the offer Macca, if they get the wrong part i'll give you a buzz.

And mac, sorry to sound thick but wheres MJP??

I wish I'd known that as someone overtightend my bottom hose and broke off the pipe.

I was told I had to buy the complete radiator at £275 :(

Also paid that ripoff £40 for the top hose. What a con.

Just bought a new rear main oil seal at a tenner and a rubber track rod boot for £20.

Our cars must cost a million squids if you built it from Neslon spares!
