Major probs, Im goin abroad in three weeks and the car has to go.

I have judt started having water problems blowing the rad cap, and noticed white puffs at the exhaust.

Could this possibly be the head gasket.

Any answers please!!

Possible. Is the oil contaminiated?

It could be a faulty rad cap.

THe oil semms to be fine. It just keeps blowing the rad cap.

I took it for a drive last night and the smoke appears to have stopped.

It doesn´t work like that.

The cap controls the system pressure.

If the headgasket is blown there will be too much pressure in the water system.

The cap will relese the pressure to the overflow tank.

If your tank is allways full you got a blown gasket.

Make sure the system is completely full, take cap off and fill to top, run for a minute, then fill again.

An air bubble can cause a Z to overheat, so make sure there's none in the cooling system!
