anyone got any idea how much a bmw m1 would go for? i've never seen one in the flesh

    Someone here had one, between £10-20K at the time I think. Look a bit wierd and only LHD IIRC.

    yep, not the prettiest of cars but pretty quick apparently. didn't they only make a couple of thousand - just enough to be able to race it as a production car i think.

    I remember as an impressionable 10 yr old going to a BMW day at Brands Hatch.

     

    I was taken around Brands in an M1 driven by Derek Bell (5 times Le Mans winner), I can still remember the feeling in my stomach as we hit the bottom of Paddock Hill bend before nailing it up the hill into Druids. A rollercoaster is the only thing that has ever come close. :D
