Wheel refurbs

I just dropped a line to ACE ALLOYS, who offer a mobile alloy wheel refurbishment service. I need this desperately, but my rims are volk racing forged split alloys.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who knows anything about ACE ALLOYS and also if there are any other wheel refurb outfits in the Manchester area.

i used pristine alloys. they have franchises all round the country.

mine are very deep yokohama avs alloys (cost about 4 grand) so I wanted a good job.

they took about 2 weeks since they had to do some of them 3 or 4 times before they were happy that they were 100% right.

1 year later, still as good as new.

can well recommend them. you can talk to them and they are very useful. Do loads of different finishes, even laquering/polishing instead of just the shity grey crap most places do...
