Hoisting engine

I'll be ready to lift the engine this weekend but not quite sure how to fix the chains to it.

I called Nissan to get the proper engine slingers but they have to be ordered from Japan with about 6 weeks for delivery :(

Does anyone have a pair I can borrow or any tips on fastening the chains without them?

    Hello Chris,

     

    You can remove bolts on the top side of the engine, then use longer bolts, put them through the chain and then tighten the bolts back up. Remember to do it diaganally - have a look here - http://www.ttzd.com/tech/enginetech.html (photo 1 & 2).
