My reverse lamp packed up several weeks ago, yesterday I decided to get off my lazy backside and put a new bulb in. Unfortunately, it still doesn't work

I have given the wiring a quick check (quad tail lamp conversion) and all seems fine.

This just leaves me wondering if either the reverse switch has 'left the building' or maybe a fuse has gone?

Does anyone know if there is a fuse for the reverse lamp? I've checked the main engine bay fuse box and the drivers kick panel pic as requested by Warren and there appears to be no sign of one

Cheerz,

Dave

I have an intermittent reverse lamp, and when I asked the question, was told that the reverse switch is well known for going fubar, and apparently it is on top of the gearbox, so difficult to do.

From the comments made at the time, it seems about 50% of the people on here dont have a reverse lamp

My reverse lamp went a year ago, turned out to be the switch. Was told the same thing as Jock.

Unfortunatly not having the manual to hand anymore I can't trace which fuse the light would go to.

I guess you could pull em all out and check.:)
