its prob gonna be the speed sensor then

Not reconnected the wheel sensor maybe or wiring to it or possibly damaged the reluctor ( I think thats what its called) ring on the hub when changing the bearing.

VW wanted to relieve my bro of a grand for a new ABS unit until he spotted the wire to the wheel sensor was frayed through.

just removed sensor and checked ,found nothing wrong!!!!!

re-connected still the same!!!!

if you disconnect it & put a voltmeter across the terminals to the sensor set to AC volts, you should get a voltage of around 1v induced when you spin the wheel.

compare it to the other side to see what readings you get.

you can also set it to ohms to check the resistance, try flexing the wire down to the sensor to see if you get any high/open circuit readings.

HTH

ps - did you do a diagnostic as described in the manual??
