I have decatted my exhaust and I have had no problems at all.

The company which makes Mongoose is located in Skelmersdale, who also make custom exhausts i believe. If you can get in contact with them they should be able to make any exhaust you want too.

I went with a longlife SS system, took the cats out at the same time, sounds and goes much better

I'm waiting to have mine done at Predatorsports at Welwyn Garden City. Unfortunately they have postponed it for another week or so.

Geoff.

Guys

Also thinking of dumping the cats but have heard that noise levels, particularly inside the car, become a bit nasty. What's your experience. I know the sound will inevitably change but is it a lot more noisier?

Removing the cats should make a minimal amount of difference (if any). If you are concerned you can always lag the pipe with heat binding, but I cant say I noticed a change to the noise inside the car.

I certainly noticed a change from outside, but I would have been peeved to say the least if it hadnt :)

Try this link, I'm getting a new systen this week minus the CAT. Custom made and built onto the car (need it for about a day though) and any size/shape tail pipe/s and sound. Cant wait
