Hi people,

i just want to say, i'm glad i have a Z when the weather is like this. I was out enjoying the sunshine, and even managed to spot a couple of Z's on my travels :-) Not that i do that sort of thing regularly ;-)

Even my kids wanted the tops off, (they normally moan about it being cold), and they are also turning into Z spotters.. lol

I saw a Red import at Epsom on sunday, and i am sure i should have started a conversation with the guy standing at the ice-cream van, something about the way he was pointing at my front lights sort of gave it away :-)

Hairsy, i sure i saw you on the M25 about 8:30pm sunday, going the opposite way to me somewhere between Clacket and the rest of the south west :-) (traffic was bad, so i had time to look around....)

Hope you had a good time over the weekend, and send me the bill for what i cost you. :)

There was also a loud blue one near Banstead/Belmont, but i was too busy looking at some bikini'd scenery to notice until it was too late :-D

Anyone local to me have a dremmel ? I still have a damn knackered screw holding my spoiler brake light blanking plate in place....

Craig.

Yes, Craig, that was me - I did see you but I was letting my mate drive back from Dover as he'd had enough of being passenger from the trip back from Le Mans.

For anyone who hasn't been the the Le Mans 24 hour - you have GOT to go. It is fantastic. Had an awesome drive down there with 4 911s, a 944 turbo, a TVR, a lotus, a 328i and a yamaha Z6. Needless to say we were very sensible on the public roads but on the private test track we were cruising at 120 with speeds peaking over 150.

And the best bit was when all the cars were lined up in the campsite, the Z got ALL the attention of passers by !

The racing itself is amazing. Was sitting at the end of the Mulsanne straight at 3:00 yesterday morning watching the cars going round the Mulsanne corner - brake disks glowing bright red. Fantastic.

I'll be going down next year so keep it free everyone and maybe we can make a Z convoy.

Dave
