Hi all,

Just wondering how far up the stick do you all fill her up with oil, in my subaru and evo i used to put fill it to about half way on the stick between top and bottom. I was advised this by a scooby specialist. Its got something to do with boost.

Just wondering how much oil are we supposed to put in. I was told it was 4.4 litres.

I always keep mine right on the max mark, surely the more oil circulating the better?

The online manual says 3.4 litres which I know is wrong. Its over 4 litres for sure.

Mine took about 3.8 litres, including the filter to get it to half way between min and max, which is about where i like it.

I found out a local parts shop that it takes 3.4 litres and when i did my oil change it seemed to take take amount to get to the max.

Just wondering whether to keep it at max or half way. I might take some out an experiment with it. Something to do with the boost pressure. Will have to do some research.
