Size wise: Apex'i AVCR is the biggest and best looking, HKS EVC V is about 2/3 of the size of AVC_R and Blitz SBC ID is the smallest (half din).

 

Could some one tell me if I would need a special harness to fit the HKS EVC V ? I know Tony C has an EVC V !

Ammar,comes complete,you end up with a 2pin harness,goes from EVC to 12volt ignition source(Red)then(black)to chassis ground;)

Do you have the KPA model or PSI as the one I'm getting for my Z is a psi version (cannot get it in UK yet but it is about $70 more expensive than KPA).

 

How are the features like on your's? How would you rate it compared with SBC-ID mate?

Stuart..I think the guy has used thicker vinyl compared to yours as he couldn't even get the creases out with the hot air gun - but looking at the roll, it seemed pretty thin to me (is your's extremely thin?)

Look at this thread, starting off with the boost controller, gonna end up with Interior upgrade:p

Ammar,mines in KPA,from Amber Performance,had to wait a week as they got it direct from HKS (they dont advertise it as yet)as for the SBC-ID i have no idea as to comparasons but Mac has it and rates it highly,i paid £550 for the EVC5,as for features well,theres alot,to much to list,HKS site and others give a good breakdown of the trick bits etc:D ;)

Tony: thanks for the info mate and will deffo get the HKS EVC V fitted in my Z when I get it back from the respray shop (hopefully by the end of this week:D )
