funny looking remote found??

Hello people ...........today i have found in the back of my car(import 90 manual non turbo) a funny looking remote with one button and a ariel like a remote control car has that pulls out.......when pressing this button the ignition lights and ecu check comes on breifly then goes off....i have a cobra cat 1 alarm on but i dont think it has anything to do with it .....its got japenese writing on it and ( R60 ).... i thought this might start the car but it doesnt , the lights just come on then off....any ideas?

Could be a remote start, and your alarm is disabling it.

 

Either that or Dr Spock is going to beam you up in the near future.

Probably a remote detonator left by the terrorist you bought the car from. Try driving around pressing the button, keeping an eye out for falling buildings.

I didnt realise there were so much sense of humour on here but its funny anyway..... tryed it with engine on nothing happens my alarm is probably disabling it....mmmm maybe still dont know but thanx anyway
