Woo-hoo, get that boost up man and you'll be smiling :D

If you can afford it then boost controller is the best way to do this as srrae says.

thanks 4 ur help zs r still pretty new 2 me as im an ex renault 5 boy racer;)

I am actuall sorry to say that the cheapest place I have found an APEX'i boost controller is Scoobynet. :S

You can also look into getting your down pipes decatted or buy test pipes.

Stuart

ive had a look at whifbitz site so a boost controler it is hopefully gunna b fitted by next weekend as me an a mate r pickin up his new lexus aristo vertex i need 2 kick his ass:D :D :D

You should really get it chipped first as you will detonate if you turn the boost too high with out it.

also -

if its a manual, you want to think about an uprated clutch at this stage. a lightwieght flywheel as well is an added bonus.

if its an auto, start saving for a rebuild :D (& fit an uprated oil cooler ;) )

Paul, this is exactly where I'm up to. Any advise on the best clutch and flywheel to go for? I've heard rumours of some cars ending up undrivable because they put a real heavy competition clutch in there. What's a 'reasonable' upgrade?

mines an auto do they tend 2 blow up once uv uprated the motor

No the auto box will hold but will need to be upgraded if you want to get to some serious power.

speak to Smithy ;) i got a RPS sports clutch with street disk. more than enough for the sort of power were talking about here with about the same feel as stock at the pedal (in fact mine was lighter coz my old clutch was so knackered & heavy!)

i also fitted a Fidanza flywheel (around 1/2 the weight of the stock one) at the same time. also from the Smithmiester.
