SMW1
As some of you know my car's going into PPS on the 14th July (Saturday) Since there are a few of you from London who have done this journey I would like to know. 1) How did you get back ? a) If by Plane: a1) What's the nearest airport to PPS ? a2) How did you get from PPS to the airport (i.e. Cab, train , bus etc.) ? a3) Which company did you use to fly back ? a4) Which airport did you fly into (i.e. London end) ? a5) What's the rough price ? a6) How far in advance so you have to book the fight ? a7) How long did it take to get back ? b) If by Train: b1) What's the nearest Train station to PPS ? b2) What's the price of the one way ticket (into Euston I imagine) ?. b3) Did you need to book a ticket in advance ? b4) How long did it take to get back ? Thanks
Guest 300z
Well dude it depends where you stay relative to Stansted. for me I took a plane down from PPS - Peter dropped me of. Plane flight from Newcastle to Stanstead cost me a whopping 3.5 lmffao :D plus taxes so in total 17 pounds. problem was from the Stanstead if you need to get to Liverpool street thats a 10ner and then through londond depending on where you go. (unless you got travel card- thank god lol) Take a train to Durham going back and that is faster (about 2 hours) leaves from Euston, and if you book early enough its under 20 quid i think. the flight seems quicker but booking in , waiting, getitng picked up ect, its actually longer. SRRAE
I would go by train especially with 4 of the 5 main lines from London to the north being closed.

I take it you meant "wouldn't" go by train. Or do you just like the delays and waiting around :D
