Hello to everyone,

I'm brand new to the forum as I want a Z32 as soon as I've saved up the 6000 or so British Euros to go and indulge myself.

I've seen one in Exchange & Mart with an awesome spec for nest to no money. Does it belong to anyone on here? There are images on the sie and it looks feckin' gorgeous. The description is:

"1990(H) NISSAN 300 Auto, SUPERCHIPPED, 76000 miles, £3,495, Panther Black, Full UK Spec 300ZX, 3.0 Twin Turbo, Targa Convertible; Auto(see other adds for details) PLUS superchipped to around 400bhp, massive torque increase, 18inch alloys, low profile, wider rear tyres (265s). 2x240W amp 1x400W amp for sub-woofer, Pioneer stereo with remote. Stainless Steel exhaust with enlarged quad outlets. Leaves standard 300ZX standing. 12 month MOT, 6 months tax remaining. Simply an incredible car at a stupidly low price for quick sale; selling to become non-car owner, otherwise Id keep it. Price reduced due to time wasters - this car is very, very cheap because I want to get rid of it now. Buyer collects. Trde welcome"

Look forward to meeting some of you at a meet in the South West sometime.....

Paint work is in good condition, 18's (with new boots on) and SS zorst on it not only make it look good but it sounds good too......the ICE install is good, pioneer throughout (Head, front, rears and sub)

It's had a new autobox, disc and pads all round and just been serviced. I don't need to do a thing to it really but as I say I want the interior replaced as I'm really fussy!! so I will spend the £500 I saved and spend it on a new full leather interior!

According to 'ConZult' the ECU is standard but it has had the boost upgrade and ECU 'remapped'. Not sure about the bhp figures and I am not putting it on a dyno either so I'll just stick to what he told me........and that's good enough for me.

It does pull more and seem quicker than my old one (Sorry Keith) and that was running 340bhp, so maybe it is more than that!!

:D

Have a look in the meets section.......The next one I am going to is this weekend (Bubble Inn I think, not sure!) and then it will be JAE at Billing.....

The car & building in the photo look familiar...

If the guy lives outside of Exeter, between the services junction & the road to Aylesbeare I looked at it about 4 years ago.(bought a red one instead) My brother in law knows him and I don't think hes short of a bob or two so he's probably not bothered about the £'s just trying to get rid of it????

Alex, twas sold to Matty!

Be interested to know if it was the same one?

When I looked at it the bloke was doing something major to the air con system....

Franco

You still lookin for a Z

email me on alex@blackwellbate.co.uk

Alex

I would love one mate - having had a couple of S13's in the last 4 years - but I can't quite justify the cashola required just yet to take me away from Clio RT-dom and probably won't be able to for a few months...... :(

I'm trying to do all my research from now though so that when the joyous moment of ownership celebration is imminient :D , I don't throw the hard-earned at a lemon

Also, being a total tech-geek at heart I love being part of clubs like this so you can sit in the boozer once a month and all have a collective **** about who's done what to their motors. Was in the SXOC when i had the last S13 which was excellent.

I MAY be selling my Z. Basically UK TT Manual with loads of body mods, Paul Bailey back lights (round ones), rear bumper, sideskirts. + different rear windscreen. New front bumber. Nicely resprayed, Turbo timer, racelogic traction control, drager exhausts, induction kit, light coloured dials, full red/dark grey leather interior looks the dogs inside & out!! Downside - I forked out for a new LHS turbo last year & now the big ends are starting to go.... nothing major at moment but will need rebuild (not a problem for me as I have 2 other cars & only do @ 3000 miles p.a.in my Z) I've been debating whether to spend loadsa money and upgrade the engine, ECU etc etc resulting in a performance car or sell it for @ £3,500 If I do then next year I'll buy a Ferrari 355 or 360.... This may sound stupid but what extra performance would I get for all the extra dosh other than pose factor???

Alex, stop it mate, I'm in serious danger of tapping up someone for some cash. Got any pics anywhere?

Funny you should say about the Ferraris. One of my fave motors is the F355, although the 360 is the better car I hate the noise the exhausts make when the bypass valve opens. Sounds awesome on the 355 but sounds like a knackered 4 cylinder on the 360. Bizarre, they're a virtually identical engine...

Franco will email pics if you give me your email address..

Re: 355 V 360 - I've been doing loadsa reading on both and the impression I got was that the 355 was better than the 360 for a number of reasons. How do you try and persuade a Ferrari dealer that you'd like to try out both over a weekend without them thinking you're a time waster??? I'm being swayed towards the 355 but not yet as it may be beneficial to get a L H drive as I could be in France quite a bit next year.

Alex:p

Duh! Its fsharp@totalsolutionstech.com

Sounds like your mind's made up. It's got to be a 355 hey?

Franco, give him the money!!

Take the Z of his hands!!

:D

Matty.

I could well do if i can blag my girlfriend to "lend" me some dosh....

Hi Alex,

Could you send me some piccys if you are still thinking about selling your Z?

I am looking for another one as I used to have one 4 years ago and I regret the day that I sold it!!

email is guy.stevens@ntl.com

Cheers

Aha! A wily move by Alex to start a bidding war, LOL! :D
