Quick question?

 

Is changing the 3 belts under the bonnet (not the Cam belt) something a complete idiot can do?

can you jack up the car, lie on your back under the front of it, remove a plastic engine guard, wobble a few spanners about? If so then you can do it. You should try so that when you succeed you'll feel a great sense of achievement and you'll have something to brag about in the pub. From memory of just such an achievement, I recall that you have to get the tensions right or you'll finish up with squeeling belts on start up. So, check the tensions before you remove the old ones and tighten the new one to the tensions of the old ones.

I have just done all the belts including the cam.

 

I would also agree about the sense of achievment. Get your spanners out and get amongst em.
