I'm converting my auto to manual

Where is the oil cooler for a manual Z?

I thought it was at the front but been told since that it's on the diff at the back?

Can I just fit a Z Centre engine oil cooler at the front and use my Jap engine oil cooler for the manual box?

Where is the pump to circulate the oil?

Right going to answer my own question!

Auto Z has the gearbox cooler inside the radiator.

The UK Z has the manual cooler linked into the diff at the rear with a pump there.

Jap manual Z has no oil cooler other than a long loop of metal pipe.

So either don't bother with a box cooler or fit a larger oil cooler then use the small Jap oil cooler for the manual box with a rear diff pump fitted up front somewhere.

So there you go!

All thanks to Luke at Z Centre ;)

Chris,

could you answer one question for me too mate:

Why have I still not received the Camber Correction Kit i paid you for last year :)

thanks

"Ammar"

No one has received them and the cheques (which were never cashed) will have expired by now anyway, so all bets are off I guess.

No, my cheque was banked and I clearly remember it !!!

Ammar,

I never cashed ANY camber kit cheques.

Unless my other half payed it into our joint account by mistake but I doubt that very much.

All I can say is check your bank statement.

I'll refund you if it has been cashed no problem mate.

The camber kits never got sorted as the order ended up being for nearly 40 kits - around £1400

The guy who was making them was never expecting this kind of response (neither was I!) and was doing them in his spare time at the company he works at.

With this size of order he had to find another company who would make them at the incredibly low price of £35 including delivery etc.

This turned out to be a problem as most companies wanted a lot more to do the job.

In the end I was going to lose money and by the time it all got organised the cheques were out of date anyway.

No problem at all Chris !

I will have to double check when I get back from work mate...that's if i can find last year's statements but i'm pretty positive that it was banked.
