evening all, I this week i changed my jap imports plugs (pfr6b11)

to (pfr6b11c) then reset the ecu. my zed feels a flat now, is this the plugs or the ecu re-learning itself?

thanks

JIM.

May be slightly exorbitant on this figure but it takes aroound 200 miles for the ECU to correctly learn how to add up again after change. I do stand to be corrected of course but would recommend that yo drive for another 100 miles or so before drawing comparison.

BTW: I have found that UK plugs work far better than Jap spec in an import with stage 1 chip......was getting det with the jap plugs.

Any ideas?

thanks for reply mate, will be driving about 200 mile tommorow so i will see how it goes, how much was your stage one chip and where did you get it from?

thanks

uk plugs cooler rating ???? jap plugs to hhhhhot ???? just a guess

Got my chip from Zedworld at around £300 I think. It is a very good chip too, showing none of the problems I have seen posts about with chips from other manufacturers. UK plugs deffo though, reckon Scott is right about the whole heat thing.

Thanks mate, 300 pounds not bad i think, is that fitted? what sort of power gains do you see?

jim

Yup, that price is fitted. Jef won`t let you fit it yourself anyways cos he slaps boost jets on at the same time.Power increase is an instant 70bhp.
