Hi Peter,

Did you manage to find a cheap source for EPROMS. Been looking around but cheapest I can find is £3.50 for 70ns.

Even OTP would be OK I suppose if it's much cheaper.

Cheers

Apologies for the late reply. The company I worked for has went tits up, nae job! Foolishly asked the managing director what I could lift before I left ,programmer!, eraser!, told me to uck off, should 'ave just taken it , too honest(stupid). Anyway, get your hands on as many devices as you can now, the guy I was asking to source them for me was struggling to get them , they're old technology and obsolete-ish.

Long term the best way to go (and I'm not an expert) would be to get a current flash( cost pennies) device and make a (sorry can't remember24 pin /28 pin) adaptor and 12v to 3.5v these devices have security features which means the codes cant be read and are also electrically eraseable.

Presume someones doing this already?

So I'm ucked for reading the device in my TT, going to try and get my hands on an eraser and programmer from my ex-employer presumably they'll be auctioned, if you want something let me know and I'll make enquiries.
