Guest Welsh Beef
Does anyone know the maximum speeds at rev limiter in all gears. Also I've heard that UK spec cars are more prone to rust than Jap imports. Why is this so. Our cars are undersealed while Imports are not. Did they use cheaper panels on the UK cars. Guest Welsh Beef
Is it just a chip to remove the keep the green party happy limiter. Also after the chip has been put in what revs/speed will the TT pull in 5th?
pete shrimp
Another point for us autos eh Mac? :D Not turning this into another debate but when you manual boys ever play a motor racing game on any old console: what transmission do you select AT/MT??! Bwaahahahahaaa! That proves it I think. We win again :D Pete

Cheapest way to remove the limiter is a delimiter electrical gadget but as the 112mph limit is enforced by the ECU, changing this to a JWT/SE chip etc delimits it. Guest Welsh Beef
I guess then on a UK car its not really worth getting it chipped just to achieve an extra 5mph. Is this the only advantage for a £200-300 chip?

james300
Day-to-day driving is about mid-range power and that is where you will notice a difference.
Guest Welsh Beef
Its a superchip, ooooooopppps I was looking at the single turbo 300zx adds about 30bhp The £511 300zx twin turbo adds 70 bhp :0 which I guess might get you above 175mph. Asfor where I can top the car out - I travel to Germany sometimes and might go to Le Mans this year
pete shrimp
I think if you do a search for "Superchip" you'll find bad things. Don't think they're recommended for the Zed. Plus that seems a bit expensive - JWT are cheaper and more respected. Pete
