Hey, I have a problem with the zed not starting right.

It will start, but will run as rough as a dog at about 250rpm for 2 or 3 seconds, then the revs will rise to the normal 1300 or so. btw this only happens when starting from cold.

Any ideas what it could be? Could it be that the idle valve is adjusted too low?

Thanks

didnt this time, but the time before, it had a real hard time trying to start, it started and died, then to restart it I had to turn it over for about 5 seconds before it fired.

Ill check the water sensor, I covered it in water the other day washing the water pipes . I need a new clip for it, atm its hooked up with spade connectors and a load of white gunk and half a roll of eletrical tape :(
