hi every one should i worrty about this

whenthe car is in neutral and you rev the engine i get a little black smoke that comes out just is this the start of bad things i do have a full stainless exhaust on the car

Could be a number of things.

However, you should probably get it checked out by a Z guru to see what it Really is.

 

However, it sounds like it could be the turbo's. Is it one side or both?

I thought black smoke was soot, ie too rich, fuel wise....

i aslo get a tad of black smoke from mine, even when normal temp, i read on a site about the gurgley things in the wheel arches AIV's??? not sure what there called, but apparently the ecu overfules by 7% so this could be why i get shitty gas mileage and a bit of smoke

hi guys i had a diagnoustic check done this evening and the car is runnig very rich there is a air leak on a valve which is making the car idel at 1250rpm thus causing the black smoke

LOL as they say dont believe everything you read on the net :p

 

Black smoke is fuel defo, can be caused by a few things causing the car to run rich.

 

but like they say "a car can run rich a million times but only lean once lol"

to rich can also be harmfull.
