scratch removal

good evening all on the rear wing of me motor theres like scratches which look like they,ve been done with a key i,ve tried polishing them out to no avail so is there anyway of removing them without respraying the whole wing cheers cully z:confused:

local body shop may be able to do something, they will probably advise respray of area though, it shouldnt cost to much,

Hi Cully,round my end of the country thers a firm called CHIPAWAY they recon they only need to touch in the damage not the whole panel,dont know if they are nation wide,could give directory enquires a bell and check,i believe they franchise.

if there not too deep, then you could try getting some cutting compound (like polish but more abrasive) to get them out.

 

other wise as bob says, there are many places such as chipaway that will do local repairs instaed of whole panels.

 

where abouts are you??

i,m from caerphilly might b a few places like chipaway round my area cheers fo info cully z

I think Halfords do a kit for scratch removal.

Might be the cheaper alternative if it works!:rolleyes: :D
