hi all does this addative work my mate reckons theres this oil u add to yr gearbox that will make yr seals softer and therefore stop any leaks i dont think it will stop mine as my leak was caused by an overfilled gearbox. blown seal on the rear end of it i guess , so have anybody used this stuff . almost forgot , how much r the rear oil seals for an autobox 1991 non turbo cheers cully z:)

Yes it can work, putting into the gearbox on a Z is another matter. I would not, unless the box was on its last legs and a rebuild was due very soon anyway. Having said that we used to put thinners into granadas etc, work like a dream.

 

But if the seal has been blown out due to overfilling it wont make any difference.
