God i hate to say this, but it's SE in Essex telephone 01621-858856 good choice by the way, best in my opinion.

cheers

Half price in the states, not sure how much the shipping would work out though, being as their pretty heavy.

Spoke to Peter at SE last week and he said he didn't have any in stock, I was phoning for a price.

"I'll get straight back to you he said"...........answers on a postcard as to whether he did or not.

But as Smithy said, excellent choice.

$94.00 from Strano.......but not sure about shipping? I reckon it might end up more than.............must...........say...........it...........SE...........AAH, did it.

I had the Porterfield pads up to around 6 weeks ago, they were excellent, but have had new EBC Black Kevlar fitted (not as good but needed some quick!)one thing about the Porterfield, they ware down quick and give off loads of dust, but will defo be fitting them again!Tony:)

Tony that surprises me that, mine have been on for 18months now and are just ready for replacing, hardly any dust either, i know Mac's lasted a long time too, are yer discs okay fella ?

Oh and the EBC blacks are just standard, so may not last yer that long

SE price £129 fronts and £109 rears.

cheers

Thats cheap, are you sure they are Porterfield?

yep definitely Porterfield front pads but are fast road not race. Not sure what the difference is myself. His brake disc prices were shite so got my discs from 3G but speak to him yourself he's a genuine bloke methinks.

Ok will do, I have R34 calipers on my Z and the last price I paid for Porterfield pads were £180:rolleyes:

lucky you with decent brakes...even with 3G grooved and these pads is woeful. Having said that I got sintered pads, braided hoses on my blade so my comparison stinks! Let me know the outcome please...

Had big bikes for many years, and the brakes on them are awesome.

A 280mm disc fitted to a car that weighs as much as a Z is a fookin joke IMHO!

You need at least 330mm discs, then you will see a big differance;)I also have braided brake lines silocone BF and a master cylinder brace that all helps.
