I am in need of some help.

Although this may sound strange, I hope someone out there can assist me.

I would like a photo, up close if possible, of a 300ZX injector. If anyone can help me out if would be great.

Also if anyone knows of anywhere where I can source some injectors, preferably 2nd hand, that would also be a bonus, (I am in need of some Nissan injectors for a turbo project).

Thanks

You may want to check the For Sale forum, there are a couple of Z's being broken at the moment.

Do you want a pic of the whole thing or just the top (ie mounted in the engine or lying on a table)???

CheerZ,

Andy

Ok, I'll check it out.

Will have to get photos as there are 2 types of side feed 370cc injectors. The more common, later ones are common with the 200SX and pulsar, which has a large injector body with the feed quite low down.

The earlier models, which I am after, are more slim and have the injector feed slightly higher up. They are for a GA16DE engine, of which I know people in the US use these injectors, since they fit directly into the fuel rail........(saves making a custom rail).

This is assuming that the UK 300ZX actually has these injectors in the first place :p

D'oh, can't edit my posts.

A photo of the whole injector, lying on a table would be perfect.

Apparently the old ones look like this;

If not then they'll have a square plug and be quite different and possibly have a different impedance too. Just need to see if this is true or a load of rubbish.

I assume 300ZX's use 370cc injectors? or are they much bigger?

Please excuse me ignorance :p

Here you go - Nismo 555's

They look familiar.....

SSUK where are you based? you can have my old 370's if you want to come get them

Ah London - oops, should have looked at your profile first....

If you wanna send me a cheque to cover postage I could mail them to you.

I have 1 brand spanking new 370cc injector.

Thought it was the probelm with mine but turns out to be something else.

Ok, those 555's are how I figured they might look like. Square injector connectors, denoting high impedence.......darnit!

US people must have slightly differing systems, either that or the info I had was wrong :(

Mine are the rounded type, low impedence nissan connector, common to the 200SX's but the injectors body is smaller.

What fun I'm having :D

200SX injectors are completely different compared to the ones I am looking for. Take a look at the pics below.

Here are the UK Spec 370cc side feeds.

Once again, here's the US spec 370cc side feeds.
