Can someone tell me if there is supposed to be a cage or something behind the centre section on the dash to hold the radio and dinn plates in place cos i don't have anything there and have had to bodge fitting the radio. Paul.

Don't know for certain, but mine has a couple of brackets welded onto the approx 40mm dia. steel tube that runs horizontally through the back of the dashboard. They're done quite neatly, but have got that sort of non-original type look. I checked the manual, but can't find a diagram for that area.

Hhmm. I have a cage harness which you bolt the head unit to - then bolt the harness to the car - then screw the plastic ctr main cover to that. But its not the pipe at the back! Of the sides! Nightmare to do, as my airel plug pops out now & then.
