Aaand another French joke

French astronomers discover, to their horror, that there is a mile-wide asteroid heading straight for Paris. Impact in just two days time.

 

They call NASA for help - the Americans are the only ones with the technology which might possibly avert disaster (Bruce Willis!).

 

The NASA Chief Exec says "Sorry to hear of your problem, Jacques - what's your ETA for the impact?". "1am in the morning, day after tomorrow, Washington time" replies Jacques. "OK, we'll call the President and see what we can do".

 

Jacques here's nothing so he phones NASA the next day. "Has the President made a decision yet?", he asks.

 

"Weeeelll", says the NASA bod "sorta - but he's still gotta problem."

 

"What's that?" asks Jacques
