Sheeit!

Only had 2500 miles on it!

They are asking £39,975 for it as it is(drive away it seems) or add £10,000 for them to fix it, so about £49975 repaired. Reckon it would drive as before?

Is it worth buying damaged cars for repair with the improvements in bodyshop technology?

Do you think this is a bargain? As they are normally about £70000 with low mileage. Not that I could afford it at 40 grand! :( :D

The big question is 'was it therefore an insurance write-off?'

I was tempted by a Saab 9000 CSE turbo some years ago. It drove ok and I started talking money when he slipped in the fact that it was a repaired write-off. There was no engineers certificate and no way of clearing the entry on the HPI. I decided that it would be hard to re-sell and a dealer friend of mine later confirmed the fact.

If you were going to drive this Ferrari in the manner it was designed for, you'd have to be failry confident it had been properly put together!

(If you really had £40k to spend though, you could find a nice clean AM vantage, Lamborghini Countach,......)

£10K to fix! Must be about £3K plus £7K dealer markup!

Don't like that model anyway - looks ugly to me especially that huge hole in the bonnet.

Now a 355 or 360... Yum!

I like the 550 actually, more than the 355 or 360 but what the hell is going on with the seats  Nasty

Isn't there a big hole in your bonnet Chris? ;)

How can you not like the 550, it's beautiful a true GT!

LMAO I was waiting for someone to point that out!

Yes but the Ferrari guys should have got Paul Bailey in to help them design a proper one the right way round ;)

I bet it catches pheasants nicely on ones estate though! :D

I like the arse end but the front looks too long and the alloys are absolute shite - they look like the budget range for Corsas down at Halfords!

Also Ferrari's should only be sold in red, yellow or black.

I saw a sky blue 360 last week.. yuk!

If your going to have a Ferrari, (or any other fast car) Its got to be RED!!!!!!!

Completely disagree here,

The 550 looks fantastic in the dark Blue as does the Z32 IMHO.

Tim :D
