AIV removal

When removing the aiv's, how far back can you remove them in the engine bay, as in is it just the vacuum lines or is there more.

    ...there's all of the vacumn lines and the control solenoids that they are attached to. You finish up with one connector that needs taping up and hiding, and one pipe in the balance tube that needs blocking off. real easy...

    If so I removed it all from mine and ended up with a big box full of stuff! :D

    Remove the whole lot! All the crap in the wheel arches, the vac lines from them to the solenoids (drivers side nest to master cylinder) and plug the lines to the plenum.
