A massive thank you to Jaz, Nigel and Trev for getting these faces to look as good as they do!!!

 

I need peoples opinions on what we would like now. I know we are going to have different speedo's depending on Jap or UK but I'm looking to get a UK (mine:D ) done first to check it out.

 

Trev has done the changes to the speedo's as per Tim's comments and here's how they now look.

 

 

I would appreciate any comments about any changes we might like done. I will be speaking to him about have the boost and oil pressure blanked out, so if we could leave that for now.

and the rev counter. Do we want the marks in red to be black instead of white?

the fuel

the temperature with black icon

and last of all the temperature with a red icon

Yeah, white doesn't look right.

 

Also there there is no Z emblem on the rev gauge ?

Looks good, but the red is a different shade to that of the Rev meter ?. They should be the same.

That's cos I just did a quick change and I'm badly colour blind:) I'll ask Trev to sort that out as well as the Z emblem and the red line markings.

 

I'll get rid of the Nissan mark as we won't even see it anyway. It's just that I scanned those faces from originals.

Am I being too picky if I say... I think it would look better if the rev gauge had the same length marks (and the half way marks) as the rest of the dial. i.e. a little longer. what do you think ?

not sure what you mean:confused:

On the rev counter you have the red area i.e. 7. 8 & 9.

The marks that indicate neddle position on these are shorter than the 1,2,3,4,5 & 6

Not sure if that's any clearer.

I know what your saying Stu - but thats how the standard dial looks with shorter marks on the redline section and not filled in:

MPH dial or Rev dial mate (cos since you mention it I think the Rev dial one is crooked! tho it might be my eyes playin tricks :) )

apologies just measured it in ps and the gap is the same, must be me gettin old lmao

definately a trick on the eye, it looks like the left side is higher than the right ffs lol

I've just noticed that on the rev dial with the black markings, the red end (at the 9) has got wonky.

Your right - I prefer the standard look though, without the black markings in the red section. Need a vote!! :)
