"Nissan has announced that it expects to report record operating profits of 737 billion yen for the 2002 financial year, which ended March 31, 2003.

Nissan expects its net automotive debt - which stood at 2.1 trillion yen at the start of fiscal year 1999 - to be completely eliminated. "

And thats before the 350 comes out properly!!!!

Most of that will be due to other Nissans such as the Micra and Extreme ( Or what ever the 4x4 is called )

Sports model cars are not known to make much money. Its the smaller cheaper models that do. Having an expectional sports car does give the whole thing a boost though.

Even so good news. I think people dont give Nissan enough credit for what the buid.

It's probably because people have forgotten about Nissan Praries in the four years since that debt figure :D

What a great car image that was to have ours' associated with !

Yes - but once they are in the green again, will they be offering an overall better service.

Stu - I agree with you about the profit on sports cars thing but I think that Audi cornered the market on that one. Lets just hope that the 350Z makes it as the new TT.
