Internal EngineCleaning with water

Has anyone tried this? Hooking up the vac lines to a small amount of water to blast all the carbon out of the engine?

 

Found a thread or two on TT.Net and it had me wondering!

    used to do this as recommended by mercedes on an engine type we used to have carboning problems with. done it a few times - seemed to work, though the engine sounded like it was trying to say "WTF are you doing to me!!!!!!" :D
