Hi guys

I replaced the factory rear spoiler with a Wings West affair that I love and filled the gap on the boot lid with a factory perspex cover which I'm sure a lot of you on here must have too.

The thing is that this cover does in fact have a light built into it which the workshop assured me they had wired up. On the outside it is black as the Ace Of Spades but on the inside if you look there is a red lens. I checked the bulbs were ligting up and they do but you can't tell from the outside.

Am I missing something here ? Should I remove a piece or something ? It seems daft to bother to create a light fitting if it is so tinted that actually you can't see if they are on or off.

Any advice or experiences would be gratefully received.

Thanks

Mark

PS I'm beginning to think that there must be so much artificial light at night in Japan that they never use their car lights (as witnessed by the terrible headlights)

Can't help on the lack of colour, but I too am going for Wings West Mid and this perspex cover.

Got any pics?

Hi there

I don't know how to post a pic on here but if you look back through the General Chat forum there's a thread starting 'ATTENTION DARREN' there's a pic on there. My car is a 1990 Jap TT Auto now in Bayside Blue.

Let me know what you think. I searched for ages to get one I liked and this fro me blows them all away - but each to his own of course. If it's on a Z then no matter what it is it'll look great.
