How much fuel can my 91 NA 2+2 hold in Litres?

and after the petrol pump does its clicky thing how much more could I squeeze in?

 

Tank capacity is 72 litres of 14.8 gallons (I think). Petrol pumps vary enormously in their shutoff times, but I usually fill mine up to the brim, and typically this means about 60-65 litres.

hey Andy, scuse my ignorance, I'm not much of an engine/car person, but if you filled the car to the brim, wouldnt that be a full 72 litres not 60-65?

But of course the fuel gauge is a bit pessimistic and you can only drive for so long with the gauge saying empty before your conscience takes over and makes you fill up BEFORE it's too late.

i filled up and usually it is 55 litres max, and i get on the freeway about 320 miles out of a tank. witness i even got better fuel economy than craig comming back from lemans (although i was driving like a girl)

72ltrs = 15.8 UK Gallons I think and lots of tax for the taxman! Ive got 63 in when I left light on for ages so even then there was a couple of gallons left.
