Why is your beer warm, flat and expensive and taste like its been watered down.

 

Also I have been to a number of places down south and I struggle to find a chip shop that does gravey.

 

I was in Cornwall and asked for a Chip Barm and I was looked at like I was stupid.

 

How do you live down there? People say life is better down there but you can keep you £180,000 for a 2 bedroom flat and I will live in a 5 bedroom detached with the same cost. ;)

1. dont drink draft beer anyway, bottled beer is best & strongbow is strongbow wherever you go:D

My sister had Chip Barm pea wet. To people who dont know, its chips on a bun with mushy pea juice poured over it.

 

Personally my favourate is steak and kidney pie, chips and gravy on a barm. :D

 

 

No chance of having that down south.

 

Even KFC down south dont do gravey down there.

Fair enough if you want it on your sunday roast but on Chips !!!

I think the main reason people live South is because its as far away from Liverpool - Manchester - and the Northern people as they can realistically get :D

I cant have an opinion as I am from glasgow, have lived in london for 15 yrs. Both cities have their bad and good points

The worst thing about the south is that it's full of bloody Northeners bitching about how bad it is here ! LOL :D

KFC in Nottingham also do gravy,you allways get it with your meal.Some people up here proberley no it by its common name of(COFFEE)

The reason house prices in the north are cheap is because nobody wants to live there!!:D :D

not strictly true, house prices have nearly double in the last year around here, purely because they dont do gravey and beer cost an arm an a leg down sauf :D

The reason why northern house prices have risen is that southerners are buying the houses!

 

This is part of a gradual plan so that the North will eventually be the South's BITCH!

Wigan must be the only place I've ever been where nightclub foodbars do pie'n'peas:D

.. and even further north our local chip shop still does deep fried mars bars and snickers bars in batter! talk about haute cuisine!

 

and they also deep fry pizza as well as do the proper kind!

 

best of all we have some spaces between the cars here!
