oil leak from rear of engine. only happens when engine running not severe, several drips on floor after about 10 mins idleing. Looked down back of engine but cant seem to see where it might be coming from seems to be somewhere near to cylinder head area and running down the back. Has anyone had similar or got pictures of rear of engine to give me a clue as to where it may be coming from and if it is possible to correct with engine in place. :( :(

Kevin,

Unforunately I've got exactly the same, comming from the back of the engine and only seems to drip out when the car is running!

I've booked it in with my mechanic next week to hopefully find out where it is comming from and more importantly get it sorted!

My missus is not very pleased with all the oil on the driveway.

Cheers,

F.T.

Have seen this on a few zeds in the workshop and is very difficult to pin down, my view has usually rested with the rear cam end seal but had one zed in with no leak but a sh?t load of clear silicon sealant over the back of the variable inlet valve solenoid assembly, maybe these can cause a leak? worth a concideration.
