I was at the Japuk meeting at mascrat manor last night and a guy from Middlehursts turned up in his R34. Clutched in his hot little hand was his (laminated!!) dyno sheet with 319bhp listed. Laugh I nearly shat:D mines still not running right and even without the bigger injectors its still making 387;) .

But to my credit I didnt point that out. Well not more than once anyway:p :D

My mistake it was an R33. All these mondeos look the same to me:p

Look, its simple. The fastest cars go to Elvington. Iains car is claimed to be the fastest on the forum, and fair play to him for it, hell of an achievement frankly, but I cant be arsed to run at Elvington, my car is fast enough for me and thats all that matters to me mate.

 

I never said my car could out do Iains, might do.. might not, not bothered.

 

But there is a Skyline twotting thread so I can reply innit ;) - there are some serious machines gonna run at 10/of the best so why not take some fast 300zx's up there. Id love to see the 300zx represented at Elvington, I love the 300zx remember, never knock the 300zx, fan-fookin-tastic motor and Im gonna get another soon but if ya gonna say ya car can wipe out anything then ya gotta show up at Elvington and prove it, else it dont mean a bean.;)

 

I dont personally give a toss either way.

 

Now lets try and keep this thread about cars, with some friendly banter about cars and not be saying bad things about people eh;)?

Life is not a straight line. I am amazed that people dont want to take their cars on tracks, where there are corners and you have to brake. That is the best way to see how good your car is. :D

Maccas car aint the fastest on here, its an auto FFS how can it be? :D If I had a clutch more capable than cardboard I'd be there - trust me ;) As it is, its slipping in third sometimes so **** **** ****... Maybe next time eh - deja vu? LMAO

No I never said my car was the fastest on here,I did say I have yet to be cained by another 300.

 

I do plan to do some serious mods this year 15k+ at least then the car will be a true beast from the East;)

 

MartinF can vouch he has a manual running 14psi ask him;)

Iain man, why not run at Elvington, maybe not on the main shoot out but just run as a representative of 300zx power.

 

Seriously, I think you should go and put down some times.. its a well respected event and the 300zx needs to be showing up at these events.

I raced a standard 1.3 Fiesta at Pod the other week! Very funny. It looked like he was still on the line. No competition but funny :D.

 

I'm a bit scared of Fiestas since I got whupped by one in Feb (shhh!), he'd transplanted a Renault 19 Turbo engine or something in and had NoS :rolleyes: . I've got better times since then tho, so have been looking for him for revenge, grrr!

ian does have the fast road box and i think this is 1 piece of silvia engineering thats makes a hell of a difference.

ian forgot to mention me +chris who he couldnt leave when we all had ecu upgrade and boost jets.there was no leaving us then was there ian!!!!!!

its a straight bolt on? there are loads of the same kits that the skyline guys fit, except compare apples with apples, when the guys who upgrade there skyline brakes on a car that cost them around 20+K and the brakes they upgrade usually cost in excess of £2500 for the package lol i doubt youll find many zed owners prepared to spend that on a 300zx. I put the skyline brakes and calipers on and its a massive improvment on the the stock 300zx brakes. If i had 2 1/2 k id probably put ALCON racing brakes on lol.

 

At the end of the day, the top skylines in the UK have stupid ammounts of money put into them, so you can treally compare as im pretty sure if you put that sort of money into a ZED youd see pretty similar results.

Warren, why don't you run your car?, it's the most powerful 300 on the forum, so I reckon it would be fairly handy in a straight line.

I'll run mine next year, the engine won't be ready in time this year.
