my engine is running fast idle, hesitates when the accelerator is pressed and is running 6% co at the rear end. have been told that the most likely reason is faulty exhaust gas sensor, but how do i test them.

there are three wires and i have been told to measure the voltage but what wires do i measure and what should the voltage be.

any help appreciated.

where abouts in London are you? I've got a Conzult you can hook it up to.

Vijay

well I'd gladly help, but I'm in NW London :(

If you still want to head over, then just let me know.

Check the TPS and the Temp sensor. TPS is on the side of the passenger throttle body, the temp sensor is the left hand connector on the metal coolant pipe coming out of the front of the engine (looking from the front). You may also have a vac leak which sounds more likely to me tbh...
