Hey all,

 

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi. I'm currently driving a Nissan Pulsar GTiR but I'm looking to buy a 300z. The Pulsar is pretty maxed out tuning wise, so I'm looking for those extra cc's ( and a car that doesn't look like a house brick :D )

Welcome to the board and hope you get a good Z. But I think you know that with performance cars there are some really bad ones out there and some people are just unlucky.

Thanks guys, I'm in the Portsmouth / Isle of Wight area. Haven't seen too many around which is good for being original, bad for meets !

 

BTW if anyone in the Portsmouth area wants to let me come and look at their Z it would be much appreciated, don't really know much about them yet so it would be good to get some first hand knowledge.

There is a Zed for sale on Hayling Island, I have just noticed it It is on the adtrader site under Nissan 300tt.

I live on H, Island, you can come and look at mine if you wish. Unfortunately The exhaust is blowing and it failed it's mot so I am not using it. I'm still deciding what to do about it in regards to the replacement.

Last week I saw 3 Zeds on H Island on the same day, one having an Irish Number, must be a record.

They give a lot of grief but are still worth it.

I am on the Isle of Wight, is your Pulsar on the Island or in Pompeii?

 

I have had a couple of 300zx Twin Turbos but now have a Skyline GTR. Would be good to meet up if you are on the Island, there is a Jap car blast going on on the 27th April here on the Isle of Wight.

 

If you are looking for a 300zx then fire me an email and if Im free I would be happy to come look at some with you, Im no mechanic but I know what to look for, how to do ECU Diag and look for tell tale signs of bad cars etc..

 

Going from a Pulsar to a 300zx is a great move in my opinion, I really miss my old Zed, I had to sell it though as it was too low for the Isle of Wight roads.. the GT-R loves it here though.

 

My old Zed is with John on this forum now, here is a picture i took of it at Bembridge airport, sweeeeeet car and missed:/

I live in Lake, but I work on the mainland during the week, so the Pulsar is usually over here with me and only back at weekends.

 

I'd love to come and look at your skyline, I have a choice at the moment of an R33 or a 300z, but I want to go for the 300Z, any help / info would be much appreciated.

 

Maybe we can hook up on the 27th or something, sounds good. Is that with Weava and the scooby crew ?

 

Went for a blast in a friends R33 today, and the Pulsar would kill it ! ( well, up to 70mph anyway ) Power to weight ratio I guess :-)
