I have investigated in getting my stereo sounds upgraded for some plans in the pipe works, and it has been said that the door speakers need to be upgraded. So does anyone know how to get to these speakers, (I have had a look, and does it involve removing the whole door panel?) and also, to save me taking the lot off twice, what size are these speakers, they look 4" looking at the cover in the door, but can never be sure.

The speaker brackets will accommodate up to 6.5" speakers though I think the standard size is 6".

 

Getting to the speakers means taking the door panel(s) off, which is a lot bigger job than uncrewing the grille, but not too tricky. There're a fair number of threads about it and there's some decent instruction on this page:
